About the Endowment:
The Frank George, AT Ret Scholarship Endowment, established in 2007, provides an annual scholarship of $2,300 to a qualified athletic training student.

About Mr. George:
Frank George became the head athletic trainer at Brown University in 1966 and remained at the school until he retired in 2004 as Brown’s director of sports medicine. He served as NATA President from 1974-78, after serving as Vice President. Mr. George was instrumental in winning a five-year struggle to bring licensure to athletic trainers in Rhode Island. He was inducted into the NATA Hall of Fame in 1991, and continues to live in Rhode Island.
