Impact of the Foundation

Critical for the Profession
In 1991, NATA established the Research and Education Foundation.

Since its founding, the Foundation has distributed over $1,900,000 in scholarships and $2,800,000 in research grants.

Historically, all of the Foundation’s revenues, including scholarship and research awards, are provided through contributions from individuals, sponsors, corporations, and NATA regional and local organizations.

Julie Max continues on the front lines in Athletic Training.   Research continues to refine techniques used in the Athletic Training Room.
